Newborn and Infant Care
Newborn care at the clinic includes expert guidance on feeding (breastfeeding/formula), sleep patterns, growth monitoring, hygiene, soothing techniques, and early developmental support to help your baby thrive in the first few months of life.
Newborns typically need to feed every 2–3 hours or whenever they show signs of hunger. This frequent nutrition helps support rapid growth and hydration.
Seek medical advice if your newborn has a high fever, difficulty breathing, refuses feeds, shows unusually low wet diapers, or seems unusually lethargic — these can be signs something needs professional attention.
Always place your newborn on their back to sleep on a firm, approved surface. Avoid loose bedding or pillows to reduce the risk of sleep-related issues and keep sleep time safe.
In the first few weeks, give sponge baths until the umbilical cord stump falls off. Use mild, fragrance‑free products and keep water warm but not hot. Always supervise your baby during bath time to ensure safety.
